01Triage, Not Diagnosis
Pawspect helps you triage
It is not a diagnosis and never replaces your veterinarian. Use it to decide how urgently to act — then let your vet guide care.
Pawspect provides an AI-generated urgency score and guidance to help you decide how urgently to act.
It does not diagnose, and it does not provide treatment recommendations. Think of it as a calm second opinion that points you toward the right next step.
02Not a Veterinarian
Pawspect is a tool, not a medical professional. It does not examine your pet, run tests, or know your pet's full history the way a veterinarian does. It never replaces a licensed veterinarian's care.
03In an Emergency
Act first, app second
If you believe your pet is in danger, contact your veterinarian or an emergency clinic immediately. Do not wait on the app.
Pawspect can help you gauge urgency in calmer moments, but it is not built to manage emergencies for you.
04Limits of AI
AI can make mistakes. Guidance is based on the photo and information you provide and on general veterinary references — and may not reflect your pet's full situation.
A clearer photo and more accurate details lead to more useful guidance, but no result is a guarantee.
05We Never Recommend Medication
Pawspect will never suggest a medication or a dose. Dosing depends on weight, age, health conditions, and other factors only your veterinarian can assess.
06Sources Are References, Not Guarantees
Citations — such as ASPCA, AKC, and veterinary manuals — are supportive references, not a guarantee of outcome. They are there to show where guidance is grounded, not to replace professional judgment.
07Your Responsibility
You remain responsible for decisions about your pet's health and for seeking professional care. Pawspect is here to help you feel informed and calm — the final call, and your vet, always come first.
